Our motto at ABIBA is to make ourselves the trend. Self-care is not selfish; it is necessary.

I am a strong believer in everything happens for a reason. My struggles with my mental health and my battle with anorexia has led to a raging passion & appreciation for wellness and fitness. So, what started as a struggling young girl’s fashion dream, has blossomed into the self-love promoting, realness encouraging, fitness inspiring and naturally empowering baby called ABIBA!

Suffering with my mental health has offered me new insights and perspectives on my goals, future and life in general. Out of the difficulties and struggles, I have never once regretted nor resented the fact that my path had mental health bumps along the way, instead I value them with grave gratitude. It’s given me the confidence to appreciate life for what it is and have faith in what it will be, hence why founding ABIBA is such a beautiful and pride-filled achievement. I experienced momentary phases where I believed that my present was going to be short-lived, my future was out of reach and that my life was slowly coming to an end so to live and love in the now and eagerly chase my dreams and passions, is such an important factor of my life now. So, when we say that it’s more than just clothing to ABIBA, we really and truly mean it! Time is inevitable and uncontrollable. It’s what we do with our time that counts. Setting aside time to study, to meditate, to work out, to feel and to socialise are all choices of how we decide to spend our time. The importance of the salvation and appreciation of time is also vital and needs to be constantly considered in our daily routines. This resonates with ABIBA, and we bear this in mind within all that we do and all that we create. We aim to emphasise the ease and simplicity of our brand as it flaunts style, oozes practicality, spotlights comfort and salvages time perfectly.
